Fuel Zari Janae’s Passion for Polynesian Dance
Donation protected
Ia Ora na! My name is Zari Janae and I am 12 years old. At the tender age of 8 I have trained in all forms of dance, but ‘Ori Tahiti and Tahitian/Polynesian dance stole my heart. Ever since then, I have dreamed of being a professional dancer.
In the last 4 years, I have competed in various online and live competitions. In 2020, I placed 3rd place on my first-ever competition at the North Carolina Pacific Arts Festival, placed 2nd in the Aito Competition Mexico 2021, and won 1st placed at the 2022 North Carolina, Polynesian Festival. Soon after, I was crowned Little Miss Polynesian 2022 in Virginia Beach, the largest Polynesian festival on the East Coast to name a few.
Dancing is something I love to do. Competing and training at a high level has strengthened that love for dance and shown me the value of hard work, dedication, cooperation, and family.
This year September 28-29 2024 I will be competing in the Ori Nui competition in San Francisco California USA.
Your support will help me pay for travel, competition fees, choreography, and costume expenses.
Any donations are greatly appreciated and will help me work my way towards achieving my dream.
Thank you so much for your time and support.
