Fuenmayor Huerta Family

Hello everyone Anni and Dusty here! As some of you know I moved to AR escaping the situation in my country, Venezuela. My siblings, and many other members of my family, have too. My brother, Anthony Fuenmayor, moved with his wife, Marian Huerta, to Chile a few years back and they are not having the easiest of time in that country either. Last year we decided to start the immigration process for my brother, and his family, the form is called I-134A, which is similar to the process i went through to become a resident.

After almost a year the immigration office informed us we are eligible to apply for my brother and his family (wife and young daughter) to come to the US as a refugee family, so we immediately started the process. I have taken a long course, 5 sponsors, all the documentation and more needed for me to apply.

One part of the application is for the sponsors to initiate a fundraiser with all the proceeds going directly to the family when thy arrive. Because of this program, when they do come, they will have all the legal papers, and documentations to be part of our community. we must collect $2425 per person and we must have 60% of it to even complete the application.

¡Hola a todos, Anni y Dusty! Como algunos de ustedes saben, me mudé a AR escapando de la situación en mi país, Venezuela. Mis hermanos y muchos otros miembros de mi familia también lo han hecho. Mi hermano, Anthony Fuenmayor, se mudó con su esposa, Marian Huerta, a Chile hace unos años y tampoco lo están pasando muy bien en ese país. El año pasado decidimos iniciar el proceso de inmigración para mi hermano y su familia, el formulario se llama I-134A, que es similar al proceso por el que pasé para convertirme en residente.

Después de casi un año, la oficina de inmigración nos informó que somos elegibles para solicitar que mi hermano y su familia (esposa e hija pequeña) vengan a los Estados Unidos como una familia de refugiados, por lo que inmediatamente comenzamos el proceso. He tomado un curso largo, 5 patrocinadores, toda la documentación y más necesaria para poder postularme.

Una parte de la solicitud es que los patrocinadores inicien una recaudación de fondos y todas las ganancias vayan directamente a la familia cuando llegue. Gracias a este programa, cuando vengan tendrán todos los papeles legales y la documentación para ser parte de nuestra comunidad. debemos recolectar $2425 por persona y debemos tener el 60% para siquiera completar la solicitud.
