Fully Torn ACL And A Grade 3 Meniscus Tear

Hi Folks,

I’m Phil, I’m 17 and I’d just signed a contract with National League South side Taunton Town FC before a historic injury to my ACL flared up during preseason. The original injury (a grade 3 meniscus tear and full ACL tear) Happened while on trial with Derby County and has now came back looking to damage my career in football once again!

I’ve already lost a fair portion of my young career and it looks like I’ll have to spend another season out as I’ll need to have an operation to fully repair the knee and continue my dream of playing football professionally.

Unfortunately, I am left with little option but to look for private healthcare in this instance to ensure a speedy operation and recovery so that I can get back to my best and back on the pitch for Taunton Town FC, getting my career back on the tracks it was before the original injury.

I’m looking to raise £8000, which is a tall ask in these times of financial stress and so anything you can afford to give will be greatly appreciated and will honestly mean the world!
