Jacob Martinez

Hi, my name is Randi and I am fundraising on behalf of my cousin Kailey, after the tragic loss of her boyfriend Jacob Martinez. We are hoping to raise money to help with the preparing of his funeral, and medical bills to come. Also, the support of monthly expenses as Kailey only works part time. It will be a long road ahead adjusting to her new normal without her honey.

Monday morning Jacob wasn’t feeling good, and he thought he had the flu, he kept throwing up and had bad stomach pain. By the time Kailey got off of work, he was in so much pain that Jacob’s sister had to rush him to the hospital that same afternoon. By later that night they had to rush him to the ICU. He was suffering with severe pancreatitis. Tuesday they needed to put him on a ventilator. Wednesday he was showing improvements, but then that same night things went down hill. All his organs were failing, they had him on dialysis and on the max level of medications to keep him alive. Saturday came and the family had to make the decision to take him off life support, and God called him home.

As the family grieves the lost of a loved one. A father of three, a son, a brother…. I’m asking anyone and everyone to share this and possibly donate if you can in support of my little cousin and Jacobs family through these up and coming months and challenges they will have to face without him here on earth. If you have the ability to support this family it would be greatly appreciated. From the bottom of my heart I thank each and every one of you for the kind words, love and support for Jacob.
