Rosemount Community Band Commissioning Project

We have commissioned world-class professional music composer Jodie Blackshaw to create a new work for concert band. This piece will honor RCB founder and former conductor (2011-2022) John Zschunke. The premier performance of this exciting new composition will occur in November, 2025. (Details forthcoming)

It has been the long term goal of the Rosemount Community Band to commission a band piece. We hope you will join us on this exciting venture to develop more music for wind band.

Please help us fund our project by donating what you feel comfortable with. We are hoping to raise $10,000 which will be used to pay for the writing of the music and the special events planned for when we host Jodie Blackshaw for the premier in November, 2025.
