Fund a food kitchen for the hungry and needy

Hi my name is Dylan I set up a food kitchen in Swindon this year to help those in need. I have been funding this myself, up until now, my own personal circumstances have changed and my finances are no longer able to stretch to cover the costs. We feed on average 45 people per every Sunday , we provide hot meals and community support in the area. We serve a large demographic of age ranges from 18 to 85. I personally find it appalling that in the UK we have people needing these services despite the wealth within the country .

I myself lived on the streets in my youth and I know how desperate and demoralising being left on the shelf and forgotten about can feel like.

The plan is simple, we wish to be able to open on the Saturday as well as the Sunday, especially during the winter months. We do not only provide food but also a place for the community to gather and feel safe in.
