Fund a Korean Refugee
Tax deductible
This year the UN refugee agency reported that there was an unprecedented high of 22.5 refugees in the world and that more than half of these refugees were under the age of eighteen. We are the DRA (Defectors Rights Association) at Harvard Westlake School in Los Angeles and are currently affiliated with the non-profit organization Liberty in North Korea (LiNK), and our main goal is to help defectors that have escaped to other countries. But, even after making the almost impossible escape, refugees are often trafficked in places like China and Mongolia. They face the danger of being sent back to North Korea. It takes only 3000 dollars to help one North Korean refugee rebuild his/her life in a new and overwhelming country. The funds will go directly to LiNK, and our goal is to help one refugee every two-three months. "We can't help everyone, but everyone can help someone." -Ronald Reagan.
