Support DDH: Giving Rescue Dogs a Second Chance

Donation protected
Hello, we are Desert Dogs Homestead, Inc. a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Public Benefit Corporation based in Landers, CA. EIN: 92-1738887.

We are on a mission to rescue and rehabilitate lost and abandoned dogs in the California High Desert and beyond.

Our main goal is to establish a state-of-the-art rescue, rehabilitation, and adoption facility. This facility will feature many unique concepts and we hope to revolutionize the rescue industry in many fun and exciting ways.

Sadly, there is an extremely high demand for more rescue and adoption facilities across the country. California in particular has a dire need. We intend to help fill that void as best as we are able.

Desert Dogs Homestead, Inc. was founded by it's President and Director Michael Janes. He is a canine trainer and behaviorist with over 30 years of experience.

We've purchased five acres of land in Landers, California and have been hard at work. We currently have the capacity to save two dogs at a time, this is not enough. The demand is too high!

With your valuable contributions, we will be able to add two more kennels. While this is not a large number, having four kennels will pave the way for our future facilities.

We intend to be able to rescue up to 30 dogs at a time when we have the necessary funds to begin construction!

We always endeavor to create an environment for our guests that is comfortable and relaxing and, currently, our kennels cost roughly $1,000 to build.

Every contribution, no matter the size, moves us a little closer to realizing our goals. Please consider making a donation today.

Our future is bursting with plans to expand, and we're thrilled to share our preliminary sketches for the upcoming transformation of our land. As we embark on this journey, we invite you to become part of our legacy. Our top donors will be honored with a special plaque, forever commemorating their invaluable contribution to turning this dream into reality.

In the image above, catch a glimpse of our vision for Desert Dogs Homestead's expansion!

We're gearing up to build not one, but two kennel facilities, each capable of hosting up to ten dogs, providing a safe haven for our furry friends. Additionally, we're excited about crafting a beautiful dog walking path, open to the public, where dogs can roam freely and enjoy the outdoors. But that's not all! We dream of adding an agility course for some tail-wagging fun and creating a versatile space for lectures and entertainment. Your support brings this vision to life, making DDH an even more remarkable place for our canine companions!

The above images detail the layout for the kennels. Each kennel will sport an indoor and outdoor area and will be designed to allow safe interaction between our canine guests and will also allow for more privacy if the dog so desires it.

Again, we can't do this without the your help. Please consider making a donation today.
