Fund a Training Space for TERA!

Tax deductible
The Tribal EcoRestoration Alliance (TERA) is a cross-cultural, multi-organizational collaborative that works to revitalize ecology, economy, and culture through Indigenous-led stewardship. TERA builds capacity for Tribal people to steward our ancestral lands through training and employment programs that reach Native communities throughout California.

Based in Lake County, California, in the homelands of Eastern Pomo, Southeastern Pomo, Lake Miwok, and Wappo people, our mission is to cultivate land stewardship, livelihood, and leadership skills that weave collaborative relationships between Tribal members and the community at large for the benefit of all lands and beings.

Established in 2019 with a few inspired folks, we have grown to employ a staff of 16 and a crew that implements EcoCultural land stewardship work throughout Lake and Mendocino county, including bringing Good Fire back to the land.

In our 4 years of operation, we have grown from working out of the back of an old horse trailer to operating from a barn located on the Tribal lands of Robinson Rancheria Band of Pomo Indians California. We have a growing need to house our tool and equipment inventory, administrative offices, fire gear, vehicles and equipment … and now it’s time to build a training and meeting space so we can gather our people together and continue learning and healing!

This is why TERA is launching our end of year fundraising campaign to raise $30,000 for a new, portable training room and meeting space that will allow us to expand our operations and build much-needed capacity for our programs and day-to-day work.

Any amount helps! Please consider directly supporting TERA as we create opportunities for Native peoples to steward our ancestral lands. All donations to our campaign are tax-deductible!

The Tribal EcoRestoration Alliance is a fiscally sponsored project of the Occidental Arts & Ecology Center, a 501(c)3 nonprofit.
