Hi, my name is Frannie. And, I'm a yoga teacher (200RYT) in Birmingham, AL. My passion is teaching chair yoga. Since 2021, I've had the pleasure of teaching free weekly chair yoga classes to residents of two local HUD-funded facilities: Episcopal Place Apartments & New Pilgrim Towers Apartments. Funding for New Pilgrim Towers is running out at the end of August, and I'm asking you to invest in these free classes for older adults who aren't able to pay for (or often, get to) the chair yoga classes that not only build strength & flexibility & inner calm, but also keep the mind sharp & improve mood & instill self-confidence and independence. The amount I'm attempting to raise ($1920) will fund the weekly class at New Pilgrim Towers until September 1, 2024. Thank you for your support!
