Fund An Afrofuturistic Sci-fi Fantasy Film

Afrofuturism will save us and we are here to do our part. We are Afro House , a Baltimore-based organization dedicated to creating art that disrupts and transforms the human imagination and we are making our first film! The story, which is told through an Afrofuturistic lens, is a sci-fi fantasy opera ballet.

Set in a fantastical sci-fi world, Cloud Nebula chronicles the journey of Jakub, a cosmic star in human form, tasked with guiding the survivors of her dying planet, Teorkal 9, to the Golden Cloud Nebula.

On December 10, 2023, we wrapped production on the film! We spent three incredible days on a soundstage located in Virginia filming the first chapter of Cloud Nebula.

WHAT WE NEED

We need to raise $10,000.00 to close-out the production phase of this film project in order to move on to post-production. We are so close! Your contribution will go toward ensuring that we can realize our vision for Cloud Nebula. Our vision entails Chapter 1 of Cloud Nebula being screened at venues across the country with Afro House’s Astronaut Symphony performing Scott’s original score alongside the film live!
