Fund Animal Fix Clinic's move to Pinole

Tax deductible
Animal Fix Clinic has occupied our current rented clinic space for over ten years, where we have performed tens of thousands of life-saving and life-changing surgeries. We are ready to do even more.

In 2022, we were given a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to purchase our own building at below-market rate. The building we bought in Pinole, CA, was used previously as an animal shelter for West Contra Costa County. The building itself has “good bones”, but we need to convert it into a functional surgical clinic.

It will take significant resources to build a surgical suite, build surgical prep areas, patient recovery areas, and create staff and office spaces.

The new clinic will be bigger, and it will enable our practice to grow in scope and volume, as we face increasing demand for our services. Our goal is to be open more days a week, and accommodate more patients on any given day. Help us make this possible!

My staff and I look forward to helping more animals in more ways, and for AFC to continue to be an indispensable resource for our community’s animals and the families that care for them.

Be a part of AFC’s future, and please make a tax-deductible contribution to the Animal Fix Clinic Pinole Fund!

With appreciation,
Jean Goh, DVM

Since they took over full-time in 2017, Dr. Jean Goh, Robin Post, and the AFC staff have worked tirelessly to serve our community's animals — and the people who love them. This is a crucial moment in the organization's story, and we're asking for your donations to help us write the next chapter.

Your donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law.

About Animal Fix Clinic:

In 1998, Fix Our Ferals was founded in Berkeley to care for community cats through TNR and pop-up surgical clinics. A spay/neuter center opened in Richmond in 2012. Dr. Jean Goh and Robin Post took over full-time in 2017, expanding services to include pet cats and dogs. We changed our name to Animal Fix Clinic in 2021 to reflect our expanded scope, and became the first Fear Free Certified® spay/neuter clinic in the world in 2022 — prioritizing both emotional and physical health for our patients and their caretakers.
