Help Fund CAMs Move for Adequate and Safe Housing
Donation protected
My name is CAM and I am a Black queer non-binary organizer. I am a prison abolitionist and pride myself in showing up to this work with rigor and courage. CAMs plan to relocate back to DC has gotten rushed because of issues with currently temporary housing including elevated risk of exposure to COVID-19 and construction happening in home.
I have been supporting movement work in DC for over a year and I’m excited to get back to the district to deepen my skills and build stronger relationships with Black folks. I am most excited about supporting mutual aid and transformative justice work, and have centered these practices in my organizing work. I am choosing to lean into vulnerability and community, to ask that folks donate (if you are able) to this gofundme to get me back to DC. It’s important for me to secure stable housing and be close to my chosen family.
