Fund Cheri Keaggy's Album: What I Know To Be True

Greetings in the Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ...

Are you ready for some new music? I sure hope so! It's taken me a minute to get to this point (O.K., more than a minute!). Still, I'm humbled and excited to finally be able to share about a new album in the works...

The title?... CHERI KEAGGY - WHAT I KNOW TO BE TRUE
The purpose?... To glorify God and build His beautiful Kingdom - and really whatever He wants to do in and through us. After all, we have this Hope as an anchor for our souls, firm and secure (Hebrews 6:19), and we are compelled to share His Gospel Hope and lovingkindness with everyone who has ears to hear. Like my husband always says, "Music gets in the back door of your heart." And we're inviting the Holy Spirit to enter.

Many are lost and hurting. The world is in desperate need of light, hope, truth, beauty, and goodness. By God's grace and guidance, it is our aim to steward this next batch of songs to that end. Many of you have encouraged and supported me through the years and even sown Kingdom seeds contributing toward crowd-funding campaigns for SO I CAN TELL (2012) and NO LONGER MY OWN (2015).  It is our hope that we can (He can!) do it again.

He is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us (Ephesians 3:20). I am trusting in His good provision to see this project through to completion. To use these joys and sorrows lifted to the Lord in song to touch hearts for His glory.

How will the funds be used?
-paying for musicians and background vocalists
-paying for mix engineer
-paying for mastering
-production costs
-photography
-album artwork and design
-CD manufacturing
-mailing costs (postage and supplies)
-marketing and promotions (radio, publicity, e-newsletters, social media, etc.)

NOTE: As we live in such a video driven culture, we are hoping for EXTRA funds for performance and lyric videos (Carpenter Husband has already done a bathroom remodel in exchange for some video work forthcoming; but, the more videos we can do, the more people we can reach for Christ!)

Does everyone who donates get an autographed CD? Yes! Some prefer to stream their music or download it digitally. Though that will be an option, I'm not as techie that way, so I still prefer an actual CD - can I get an amen?!

Some can give big, while others can give little -ALL gifts matter in God's economy and ALL gifts are a blessing. Whatever the donation amount, $5, $10, $25, $50, $100, $500, $1,000 or more, everyone will get the completed CD...signed, sealed, and delivered to your mailbox.

NOTE: Be sure to include an email address in the donation process. You will be contacted by Team Cheri to obtain a current mailing address.

Benefits of Go Fund Me vs. Kickstarter...
One thing that's really helpful about Go Fund Me is you don't have to wait until a specific end date to begin using the funds. We can use the money as it's coming in and pay expenses as needed throughout the process. Also, it's ongoing. As stated in the video, we want to finish this project in the next month or two (no later than May/June 2021). Having said that, if someone discovers this campaign at a later date, they can still give a general donation toward the ministry, even if the album is finished. NOTE: We are not currently set up as a non-profit or charity, so donations are not guaranteed to be tax-deductible.

I thank God for His faithfulness through you. Truly, your support is helping me be obedient to God's call on my life. Though most days I feel like I'm leading with a limp, especially since losing Dad, throughout life's changing seasons, my heart and mission remains the same...

MISSION STATEMENT...By God's grace and equipping, it is my life's joy and privilege to know Christ and make Him known, ministering His message of Hope and Healing through song, speech, and the written word; to tell of His goodness and compel others to do the same for the glory of God.
