Fund Connie & Aahrimis' Fight for Life

Donation protected
Hello everyone, as most of you have witnessed the tragic fiery dump truck accident that occurred on I-495, on Monday, April 8th. We are saddened to say, it was our co-worker Connie and her son Aahrimis. As her work family, we decided to start a gofundme account for them. We are asking for donations to help them through this very difficult time. Those that know Connie would tell you, she's a dedicated mother, funny, loving, easy-going, friendly person. They would also tell you she’s a fighter. Giving up is not in her vocabulary. Unfortunately, on April 8th, Connie and Aahrimis lives changed forever. Her day started as a regular Monday morning workday and ended tragically. Connie was out hauling material as usual. During her run, something happened, resulting in her losing control of the truck. The truck flipped and was engulfed in flames leaving them both in the truck. Connie, being the mom she is, she managed to release Aahrimis from his booster seat and pushed him out of the blazing truck. All the while, she was suffering the intense heat from the fire. As most of you may have watched this horrific accident on your local news channel. Both were rescued by good Samaritans and pulled to safety. Unfortunately, their story doesn't end there or have a happy ending. Both suffered server burns over most of their bodies. They are both still hospitalized and will be for months to come. We are setting up this account for any needs they may have once they are released from the hospital. All funds will be allocated for their care, rent, doctors’ appointments or any medical needs they may have.
I can’t share any additional information about their medical status due to the privacy act and respect for her mother. I’ve reached out to her mother and was given permission to start the gofundme for Connie and Aahrimis. This will be a very long and difficult road to recovery, and we would like to give them a soft landing once they are released from the hospital.
We would also like to Thank the good Samaritans that saved both Connie and Aahrimis. Thank you to everyone for all the calls, love, and support we've received for Connie and Aahrimis.

God Bless you all.
