Fund COVID Hospital Beds in India

Want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money on behalf of Empower and Excel to fund 50 COVID hospital beds in India, and any donation will help make an impact.
Every day, more than 300,000 new cases of COVID-19 are reported in India. Hospitals are constantly being flooded with more patients than they can handle. The number of available hospital beds is dwindling with each passing moment, and many patients cannot even begin to receive the care they need without them.
Each donation you make will go towards funding 50 hospital beds in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. All donations are welcome. Every one of your contributions is tax-deductible and will go 100% to the cause. We also have a buy-in from the district local authorities to staff each bed that you fund with a licensed healthcare professional. A mere $65 funds a hospital bed complete with a mattress, bedsheet, and pillow and helps save a life!
Once we get to the goal of setting up the COVID beds, donations will be used to:
- Procure oxygen cylinders and/or oxygen concentrators, Each 5L concentrator is 50,000 INR.
- Provide self-quarantine medical kids to poor people. Each kit is 2,800 INR.
- Supply basic ration to daily wage families impacted by COVID. Each kit is 2,000 INR.
This cause means everything to us, so we will match every dollar contributed with one of our own. Your generosity will go a long way towards saving lives.
Update: 05/23/2021
1. A 50-bed triage and isolation center was set up in Krishna District in Vijayawada Government General Hospital. It was also fitted with 4 air purifiers (each cost 27,000 INR).
2. A 30-bed triage and isolation center was set up at Vinukonda.
