Fund Diana's Daycare 2nd location Renovation Efforts

My mother and I run a daycare center on the north side of Chicago. The small center opened in September of 2014.

What makes me most proud of Diana's Daycare Center is our journey from humble beginnings in home daycare services to where we are today. What started as a home based daycare is now a female run, minority owned business that has been thriving in childcare services for over 25yrs.

What sets us apart is our philosophy which revolves around providing top-notch care that not only ensures children's safety but also facilitates their educational and social growth. We believe that a nurturing and stimulating environment is essential for a child’s development.

While the COVID-19 pandemic presented challenges for our industry, we were able to navigate through it with aspirations for expansion and property ownership. In 2022 we embarked on a journey to expand our daycare center, securing a new space to accommodate more children and meet the growing demand for our childcare services. However, renovating the space has become a major hurdle due to updated city codes and the rising cost of materials.

With support from daycare families past and present, family and friends, we can complete our expansion and continue to provide childcare to the community and surrounding communities.
