Fund Fernando's Funeral for Julio & Acela

Hi. I'm Julio, and on Wednesday, December 4th, my grandfather, Fernando Beraun, passed away. Words can't describe how devastated I am and how I'm feeling during this loss. My grandfather was my second dad. He raised me from infancy till the day he saw me last, giving me advice and helping me go through the trials and tribulations of life. However, as much as I am sad and grieving, my grandmother Acela is even more sad and suffering than me. They were married for more than 40 years, both of them coming to America from Peru to live better and fulfilling lives. He was taken away from us too soon, and we both still wait for him to come even if we know on the inside it's not going to happen.

We aren't a family that asks for help as we've always tried to be independent and rely on what we can afford and have. However, this is a special circumstance. The funeral costs are more than what we expected and we are asking for help from anyone that knows me personally, my grandfather, or the general public that is able to contribute towards me and my grandma as a family of three is now a family of two. Asking for money isn't something we like to do, but the help of anyone would be greatly appreciated. We are hopeful of reaching our goal, but any little bit helps.
