Help CPI Educate Zambian Orphans

Tax deductible
The ObstaComer Scholarship Program is CPI's new 2020 initiative created in honor of CPI volunteer, Elizabeth Mulenga's late parents Mathew & Jean Mulenga. The program aims to support orphans, marginalized children and youth.  Zambia has more than 1 million orphans, giving it the highest per capita orphan rate in the world, according to UNICEF. Zambia has an estimated overall population of 13 million with 64%  of its population living on less than USD $1 per day, and  80% living in rural areas on less than USD $1 per day.  Zambia has 4th lowest life-expectancy rate in world at 37.5 years.

CPI is raising funds to provide Georgina from a Zambian orphanage,  New Beginnings Children's Village (NBCV)  with a full scholarship to attend Malundu School, a private school in Kafue, Zambia known for providing quality education. CPI is aiming to raise enough funds to secure her education from grade 9 through 12 beginning in the 2021 school year. Raising more funds would also enable CPI to sponsor more children at NBCV in addition to Georgina. CPI has very minimal operating costs which guarantees that over 90% funds raised go towards supporting student’s tuition.
