An Indigenous Activist's Car and Living Expenses
Donation protected
Dom is an Indigenous activist who’s been supporting protests in Thurston County and beyond for nearly a year. They were recently arrested by the Olympia police department while providing car support for a protest seeking justice for Daunte Wright. During the arrest, the police seized their car, and impounded it, keeping everything inside it for evidence. Objects seized include their phone, ID, and religious items, all of which the Olympia police department refuses to return. Dom's spiritual and religious rights were violated during this arrest and the items taken have created pain and difficulty in their everyday life and made it hard for them to get by.
All money raised will be going towards medical bills, living expenses, and the cost of getting their car and possessions out of impound. Additional expenses include the costs of a new vehicle.
