Fund for Ben Yoder's Expenses

Sometimes during a time of crisis, we often ask, “What can I do to help?” If we can do something, we feel that we are showing love in tangible ways. And it is our way of blessing them.
     Our brother, uncle, cousin, friend, Ben Yoder, is in a time of deep physical crisis.
     Ben and Carol flew to Malaysia last week to visit their daughter, Jenny, and her family for the first time.
     Three days after their arrival, Ben began to feel abdominal pain and began vomiting.
     A visit to the ER revealed a small bowel obstruction and the Dr was beginning a plan of treatment.
     But approximately an hour later, Ben began having respiratory distress and was taken to the ICU.
     From that original problem came complications and then multi-organ failure. The doctors have been treating Ben as thoroughly as they could.
     It had been hard on so many of us to see Ben’s struggle.
     And because of the distance, we feel powerless to help.
     We know that so many people are doing the work of prayer but are opening this fund for those of you who wish to “do” something tangible for Ben and Carol.
     There will, no doubt, be financial needs as the days go by.
