Fund for Donna Carson

My sister-in-law, Donna, has been battling medullary thyroid cancer for more than 4 years, undergoing many rounds of treatment. She's a fighter and she has bravely taken on this disease, the painful side effects of some of the treatments, and the frustration of frequent hospital visits and doctor consultations - many of which take place hours from home.

The current challenge for Donna is radiation therapy, requiring daily hospital visits for four weeks to a facility two hours from home. Traveling to and from therapy is a heavy burden and is already costly. Offering her an opportunity to stay at a local hotel even once or twice a week could help provide some comfort during this time. We are raising money to help offset these added costs so that finances are not an additional concern in this already challenging situation.
