Relief for out-of-work Freight & Salvage staff
Anyone who has walked through the doors of Freight & Salvage knows it: our fantastic staff are truly what make the Freight the Freight. The sound tech who devotes hours to creating a perfect mix for that unpredictable quartet from Ukraine, the event manager who works so hard to get the ticketholders in the door early on rainy nights, the jam leader who dexterously shepards everyone through a gutsy rendition of “The Thrill Is Gone”, the concessions worker who carefully assembles each hummus and veggie platter...it’s these folks who make our musical community the warm and welcoming place it is.
When the COVID-19 pandemic forced us to shut our doors, putting our hourly staff out of work, it was a devastating blow to the entire Freight family. It is our responsibility to do everything we can to help them out during this difficult period.
As a member of the Freight family myself, I ask you to stand with me in supporting our beloved sound techs, event managers, concessions crew, box officers, and instructors by making a donation today. One hundred percent of any amount you are able to give will go directly to out-of-work Freight staff, helping to bring some peace of mind to our friends who are currently struggling to make ends meet.
Thank you so much for whatever amount you can give. It is deeply appreciated by us, your Freight family.
