Fund for Laekyn Sillavan- Car accident

On December 21, 2019, four days before Christmas, Laekyn was on her way home from work when she was in a horrific car crash. She is currently recovering at Lafayette General hospital with severe injuries including a broken femur in her right leg, a fractured ankle on her left leg, a fractured wrist, and two broken fingers. Upon arrival at the hospital she was immediately rushed into surgery to have her spleen removed due to internal bleeding. The next morning a rod was placed in her leg to repair her femur. Laekyn will be hospitalized for at least a week and has a very long road of recovery ahead of her. 

As many of you know, Laekyn and Elijah have a 2 month old son, Klaus. With Laekyn’s severe injuries she will be unable to care for him as she would like as she will be unable to walk or lift for some time. Without Laekyn working and Elijah taking time off from work to be by her side, I am reaching out to their friends and family to help cover the costs of the next few weeks. The car she was in is completely totaled and was their only means of transportation.
