Fund for Matthew and Joshua Hankins

We are starting a fund to help Matthew and Joshua Hankins for the recent loss of their incredible parents, David and Maria. Maria worked with our team at Inova, and she made a difference in many team members' lives and all of the patients she served. Maria's smile was contagious, and she always lit up the center when she came in. Even though she left our team in 2020, she has had a lasting impact on all of us. In recent years, we have seen her and her husband at the local festivals and fairs in South Riding and Aldie, sharing their love for BBQ with everyone. Our team would always make sure they visited with them!

Although we haven't personally met Matthew and Joshua, we wanted to make sure through this fund that they see the fantastic work their mom did every day while working at Inova. We are so thankful for Maria and the incredible time we had to get to know her. We will miss her greatly, and our deepest condolences are with the Hankins family.
