Fund Harper's STEM Journey at BGSU

Dear potential sponsor,

I am a 5th grade student at Bigelow Hill and have been nominated to represent my school and community at Pathways to Stem, at BGSU. By attending this envision program, I will join other motivated students from around the country for an experiential leadership/career exploration /science based program.

This will be a powerful experience, enabling me to interact with respected professionals in various fields while building relationships with students who will be my future colleagues. Attending this program will allow me to further my interest in robotics, computers, and other tech, and reach my career goals of becoming a professional in the field. I maintain a place on the AB honor roll, attend advanced classes, am involved in a variety of extra curriculars, and was recently awarded my nomination to participate in this spectacular week long experience.

Imagine if you had been given this life-changing opportunity when you were in school and were unable to participate for lack of funds—that is why I am writing this today. My participation in the program depends on whether I can raise the $3500 in sponsorships. I am investing every dollar I can of my own money to make sure I don’t miss out on this unique experience. I am doing extra chores and am willing to do extra work to make more. Thankfully my family was able to pay the amount required to get me enrolled, but future payments will be required to cover the full cost.

My tuition must be paid no later than July 5th.
