Hello, my name is Islam Hatem Al-Shanti, and I am 38 years old. For the past eight years, I have dedicated my life to helping women suffering from autoimmune diseases through the Lupus Initiative I launched. This initiative has organized numerous charitable projects to raise awareness and provide support for this important group. Some of the activities I have undertaken include:

1. Sponsoring 150 patients with autoimmune diseases and providing necessary medications and supplies in cooperation with Palestinian human rights organizations.

2. Organizing recreational days for children with cancer at Al-Rantisi Specialized Hospital.

3. Providing continuous and sustainable assistance to dialysis patients.

4. Participating in volunteer days and workshops to raise awareness about autoimmune diseases and combat harmful stereotypes.

5. Launching an initiative to conduct free tests in Gaza laboratories.

6. Creating a Facebook page in Arabic to organize charitable campaigns, provide assistance, and distribute medications.

Unfortunately, I have been suffering from lupus and fibromyalgia for six years and have been receiving treatment at Al-Najah Hospital. Currently, I have been in Egypt for the past 6 months after my health deteriorated significantly. My main issue is that my body attacks itself, and unfortunately, it also attacks the treatments I take. I have tried all the necessary biological treatments for my condition, including:

- Imuran

- Myfortic

- Methotrexate

- MabThera

- Infliximab

Unfortunately, my body did not respond to any of these treatments. Recently, I was prescribed a new treatment called Beulimmab, which is specifically for lupus. However, this medication is only available in some Arab countries like Qatar and the UAE, and it is not available in Egypt or Palestine.

Two years ago, I received this treatment through a charity called "Think of Others." Now, my heart muscle is functioning at only 37%, and previous treatments have led to blood clots in my brain and affected my kidneys to a second-degree level. Currently, I am at Al-Marg Chest Hospital, and they have not been able to provide any treatment for me. A medical committee visited me and informed me that the treatment is not available.

I have not taken any treatment for eleven months, and therefore, I am asking for your help to collect the necessary funds to purchase the medications from abroad. A six-month supply of Belimumab (Benlysta) 20 ml single-use vial 400 mg costs 11,789.82 euros, with an added cost of shipping and tax which totals 13886.40 euros.

للأسف، أعاني من الذئبة والتليف العضلي منذ ست سنوات وأتلقى العلاج في مستشفى النجاح. حاليًا، أنا في مصر منذ 6 أشهر بعد أن تدهورت حالتي الصحية بشكل كبير. مشكلتي الرئيسية هي أن جسدي يهاجم نفسه، وللأسف، يهاجم أيضًا العلاجات التي أتناولها. لقد جربت جميع العلاجات البيولوجية اللازمة لحالتي، بما في ذلك:
