Fund Jason's Future - In Honor of his Mother

Thank you to everyone who donated to help Jason's Future. We have closed this campaign and are so happy with the outpouring of support from all of you!
This year in lieu of gifts we will be helping Jason overcome the financial burden of having suddenly and tragically lost his mother, Hafsha, who was a single mom and Jason’s rock.
Many of you may remember Jason. He was our intern and we started a go fund me page years ago to raise money for him to get tutoring so he could graduate from high school. He was living in the Bronx with his single mom whose only mission in life was to keep her son off the streets and get him into a good college. His mom, Hafsha, made her son’s future her life’s mission.
With much support from his mom, family members and friends, Jason not only graduated from high school but was accepted into Morehouse College. Hafsha was so proud and feeling very hopeful for Jason’s future. He made it through a few months of his freshman year when his mom tragically and unexpectedly died in his arms of a heart attack.
Jason is now financially alone in this world now and is working three jobs to keep the bills paid and feed his dog, Sparkle. This page is to raise money for his expenses, school supplies and dog so he can concentrate on his studies.
In Hafsha’s memory, let's step in and help keep her dreams alive for her boy. Every little bit will help for food, clothes, rent, dog food, and school supplies.
