Help Fund Jay's Ongoing Medical Expenses in Oaxaca, Mexico

Update. My earlier goal of $4000 usd was reached, largely because of a little link at the end of my son Corey's weekly (updates Mondays) online comic, https://existentialcomics.com

Clearly all because of this brief appeal by my son Corey, donations jumped from an apparently stagnated $1200 or so to OVER my goal of $4000. Thank you Corey! And many thanks to Corey's many fans who donated. And an especial thanks to one San Francisco State University professor who donated $500!

Here I am in my 6th year in Oaxaca, Mexico, where I have been living a wonderful life up until now. After much problems in the area of my bladder to my tailbone though, I tested for a much enlarged prostrate.

This morning, Sunday July 8, I am back in my apartment after four hard days in a hospital with not only the enlarged prostrate, but with Dengue Fever! ..... Also a blood infection, and in the worst shape probably of my entire life. At times I've barely been able to roll over in my hospital bed even with a nurse to help. Now I AM back in my apartment, slowly on the mend, but the prostrate surgery has obviously been delayed until I can recover sufficient strength. The doctor is hopeful though that this can be achieved in one week's time.

Meanwhile, I'm looking at other health issues .... up next is skin cancer, then looking into what has been by now long term mysterious intestinal problems. I'd LIKE to have a camera run through the length of my intestines. which costs here in Oaxaca about $2700 usd. If donations truly significantly go above my current goal, I might even upgrade my now 12 year old Mac Mini computer!
