Fund Jose De La Cruz Alvarez's Funeral

On August 25, 2024, at 7:00 AM, a tragedy hit us when we got a phone call that nobody should have. A phone call that one of our loved ones, by the name of Jose De La Cruz Alvarez, was found dead. It wasn’t until later that day that the Harris County detectives knocked on our doors telling us that an individual was found dead that fitted the description of him. It was revealed later that day that it was him and that it was most likely a mugging/robbery. He was a loving father, a great husband, a hard worker, and a fantastic friend; qualities that describe a good man.

We’re trying to raise funds for his funeral and memorial; any amount would be greatly appreciated even if it’s a dollar. Please help us spread the word so it can reach more people. All the money collected will be used for the funeral and general amenities for his family. Thank you for taking the time out of your day to read this.

This fundraiser was set up by the cousin of the deceased man’s wife and all funds will be allocated to her to help her and her family in their time of need.

El 25 de agosto de 2024, a las 7:00 a. m., una tragedia nos golpeó cuando recibimos una llamada telefónica que nadie debería haber recibido. Una llamada telefónica informándonos que uno de nuestros seres queridos, de nombre José De La Cruz Álvarez, fue encontrado muerto. No fue hasta más tarde ese día que los detectives del condado de Harris tocaron a nuestras puertas y nos dijeron que habían encontrado muerto a un individuo que encajaba con su descripción. Durante el dia era confirmado que si era el y que fue un atraco/robo. Fue un padre amoroso, un gran esposo, un gran trabajador y un buen amigo; cualidades que describen a un buen hombre. Estamos tratando de recoger fondos para su funeral y memorial; cualquier cantidad sería muy apreciada incluso si fuera un dólar.
