Freight Train: A Music Teacher's Journey

Hi there!  My name is Kelly Dupuy Schmitt.   I'm a singer/songwriter and music teacher and I have a big story to tell.  The  album that I am producing is a unique collaboration and it's to be a genuine testimony with some big encouragement.

Together with my friend and artist, Sauveur Carlus http://www.sauveurcarlus.com ,  I will share my journey of love, triumphs, failures and faith in a beautiful artistic collaboration that has been nearly 40 years in the making!  
 
As a teacher, I believe that music is a  lifelong journey.  As a philanthropist at heart, I want to be able to contribute future earnings of this project towards teaching our kids how to think, listen and be respectful contributors to our world.  Music empowers.

My producer, Terry Sweet, Sauveur, and a studio of awesome musicians in Nashville are ready and waiting to complete production and to bring you this amazing story.  The second sessions begin July 20th, 2022 with a release date planned for the Fall of 2022!

I need your support now more than ever!  As a part time music teacher and mom it is impossible for me to afford these costs!  Your support will contribute to a larger mission to provide engaging and meaningful music education to young children.  I will continue to post updates so that you too can be a part of the process.  And guaranteed there will be a celebration and limited edition CD for all of my supporters when the project is complete!
