Fund Lydia's Educational Journey in Washington DC

Hello! My name is Lydia Ruot. I am a senior political science major at Illinois State University. This summer, I was invited to attend a civic engagement trip as part of a class in which I will be visiting Washington D.C. for a week to explore career-building opportunities. This experience was highly competitive with only ten accepted applicants but I do not have the financial aid needed to cover tuition, travel, and day-to-day expenses.
