Fund Michelle & Chad's Healing Journey

We are Michelle Warner's daughters, Marquee and Makayla.

As most people know by now that my mom and our bonus dad Chad experienced a mauling by their One-and-a-half-year-old Boxer/terrier /mix that they recently adopted. She named him Harley Davidson Mullins after her love of motorcycles. Harley came from an abused home and all my mom wanted was to love him, but it was not enough due to his background. Harley was the first dog she has ever owned, and she only had him for six weeks. He made her so happy, but now we have to start the healing process of this tragedy.

Chad and my mom’s injuries are very severe, and both are struggling physically and mentally. Mom will be going to rehab soon, and Chad will have to go also as soon, as he has healed from his wounds.

Mom has to have her calf operated on as her muscles were damaged.

Chad has had five surgeries on both of his

hands, which he will be in the hospital for at least another three weeks due to how deep his wounds are. The doctors are unsure about the use of his hands, as damage to the muscles and nerves.

Anyone who knows my mom and chad, they do not like asking for help, as they would rather help others. But here we are asking for help for medical and living expenses, as employment is not an option right now. Any amount would help us with out-of-pocket expense's, medical bills, utilities, meals, medical supplies, gas money to be able to travel back and forth to the hospital and to Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, which is 90 miles away.

Mom is going through mental trauma and will not be returning home for awhile, as she needs trauma therapy due to this incident. We all know how strong she is. Chad will be in the hospital and rehab for awhile. But they’ve been through tough times before they can get through this. Any little help will ease the burden of financial hardship.
