Fund my journey to POWERLIFTING NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP CANADA

Hi, my name is Eleanor Kelly-Coderre, I am a fourth year student at UBC and I am a competitive powerlifter. Most recently, I competed at the Canadian Western Powerlifting Championship where my dedication to the sport has led me to qualify as a Team Canada athlete for the Bench Press World Championship. This international meet will be held in Austin, Texas from May 24-28, 2024. I am honored to have been offered this opportunity and am keen to take to the world stage to represent my province and country.

Update: 5 weeks prior to competing at Worlds I fully broke my wrist forcing me to pull out of the competition. I am thus shifting the goal of this fundraiser to funding my journey to powerlifting nationals which will be the first week of September in PEI.

Powerlifting is an expensive sport and as a full-time student and part-time employee I currently do not have the funds to cover the costs associated with competing at the world level. Money fundraised here will go to booking flights, accommodation and covering registration fees.
