Fund NSBE USF’s “A Walk For Education”

Hi, my name is Jillian Richter, and I am raising money to buy college prep books (SAT, ACT, etc.) for the “A Walk for Education” event, hosted by NSBE, to encourage high school students to attend university. I am the current Technical Outreach and Community Help Chair for the USF chapter of National Society of Black Engineers. “A Walk for Education” is an annual event we host to provide college prep materials to underprivileged youth in our community. These books will be given to the attending students for FREE! And all donations collected will go directly towards “A Walk For Education”. The event will include inspirational guest speakers, a tour of our campus, an introduction to some on-campus organizations, and lunch! The event will be on February 24th, 2024 on USF’s campus and in order to provide for approximately 50 students, we need to raise $1000! Last year we had ~40 students register, and were able to buy almost 50 books, so we’re hoping for an even higher number this year!
