THIS CAMPAIGNE ORGANIZED BY ST.MOTHER THREESA SYRO MALABAR CHURCH NORTH BATTLEFORD AND BATTLEFORD MALAYALEE ASSOCIATION
Tom Thomas was 34 years old when he passed away yesterday at Hospital emergency room due to sudden cardiac arrest. He was a father, a husband and a son who lost his battle to COVID. With no family support here, he leaves behind his 18 month old child and wife. He is from Ponkunnam, Kerala, India. He was very active and supportive in the community activities and church choir.
He was very hard working person. Being a nurse back home, his passion to care for people brought him to North Battleford, Saskatchewan, Canada 4 years ago(2016). His wife Merin George with same passion works in a long term care in town.
As Healthcare workers, him and his wife dedicated their lives for caring for others but when it came to be taken care of, the system fell short.
Life has been hard as it is with this pandemic, but such a tragic loss has left his family and friends are extremely helpless and devastated. He was the only person working in the family because wife is still on maternity leave to take care of the child.
Our goal is to fundraise for his funeral expenses and family support. THIS CAMPAIGNE ORGANIZED BY ST.MOTHER THREESA SYRO MALABAR CHURCH NORTH BATTLEFORD AND BATTLEFORD MALAYALEE ASSOCIATION
In these tough times, we ask you for your support and generosity to help Tom's family.
May his soul Rest in Peace.
