Fund Raiser for Devastation from Fires in Chile

Dear friends and family,

My name is Tamara Tattersall. I was born and raised in Viña Del Mar, Chile - a peace of Paradise on earth before I moved to the USA with my mother. Every time going back there, I felt fortunate to have, name and feel two places which I call HOME. My heart is bleeding now.

As everyone knows, my country Chile is going through a terrible catastrophe. On February 2nd and 3rd, a large fire devastated the lives and homes of many citizens. Among them, friends and family from our beloved city of Viña del Mar. The city that saw me growing up. Many of you have contacted me privately to be able to contribute from small to large towards citizens who are suffering right now. For that, I sincerely appreciate each one of you. Now, we are going to focus on our small neighborhood that was very hard affected - EL SALTO. Hundreds of families today live with no roof above them and without any help and even basic needs such as food, clean water, and shelter.

Unfortunately, the fire continue as those affected citizens continue to increase.

I opened the gofundme account so everyone who would like to donate and contribute could do it and everything is documented and transparent to all the people who can help us. Even a small donation could change someone’s life and well being.

Every penny raised would be used to provide basic needs to people who are suffering now. That will include medical aid, food, clean water, shelter, temporary homes, and opportunity to reunite with a family members.

Como todos saben mi país Chile está pasando por una terrible catástrofe. El Día 2 y 3 de febrero un incendio de gran magnitud arrasó con las vidas y los hogares de muchas personas. Entre ellos , amigos y familiares de nuestra querida ciudad de Viña del Mar. La ciudad que me vio crecer. Muchos de ustedes me han contactado privadamente para poder aportar con un granito de arena, que agradezco de corazón. Ahora nos vamos a enfocar en nuestro pequeño barrio que fue muy duramente afectado, EL SALTO. Cientos de familias hoy viven en la intemperies y sin ninguna ayuda. Lamentablemente los incendios continúan y los afectados siguen aumentando. Abriré una cuenta para que todas las personas que nos puedan ayudar sea todo documentado y transparente.
