Fund Raiser for Unexpected Funeral Expenses

Please help our family raise funds for the unexpected funeral expenses of Ildelfonso "Fonsito" Velez. Fonsito's life was abruptly cut short as a result of gun violence at the young age of 22 on December 14th, 2022. This tragedy has left our family devastated, heartbroken, and with a huge void that will never be filled.

Fonsito was inquisitive and intelligent. As a child, he loved animals and dreamt of becoming an Archeologist, showing particular interest in reptiles. Fonsito was the oldest of 12 grandchildren and was a new proud father of his three-month-old daughter Aniyah. He aspired to give his daughter a better life and was working on returning to school. Unfortunately, his daughter is left to grow up without a father, and Fonsito will never have the opportunity to continue raising Aniyah and watch her milestones as she grows.

He valued his family and loved making everyone around him laugh and smile. His laughter was one of a kind, contagious and illuminating. Although Fonsito has passed onto the spiritual world, he will forever live through those that love him unconditionally.

We want to lay Fonsito to rest with a proper funeral and burial. But we need financial help as our family does not have the means to cover most of the expense of suddenly losing a loved one. Therefore, all donations, no matter the amount, will be greatly appreciated by our family.
