Terpsichore’s transition fund

My name is Terpsichore , and I want to share a deeply personal and transformative journey that I am about to start — the journey to embrace my true self as a girl.

I’m 21 and my profession is model/performer while I’m also associating my work with arts.Currently I’m trying to put my plan into action, to leave my country because I no longer feel safe to stay . Racism and transphobia are two phenomena radically increasing in Greece, thus making it difficult to express my true self . As my gender dysphoria reached a point where it is no longer bearable, I feel as if it’s time I take the next step in my life.

For as long as I can remember myself, I have known that I am a girl trapped in the wrong body. This realization became clear to me through years of introspection and self-discovery. Today, I stand before you, feeling vulnerable yet hopeful, as I’m paving the way to live my life as I’ve always wanted.

That’s why, I’m reaching out for your help, as it will be really hard for me to cover my transition’s costs while I’m trying to make a living in a foreign country. This fundraiser will be the starting point of my journey to become who I always wanted to be, a beautiful fairy.

My decision marks a pivotal moment in my life, as I embrace my true identity with courage and determination. This journey is not without its challenges, but it is a testament to human resilience and the power of authenticity. Through my experiences,I will learn that the path to self-acceptance and fulfillment lies in being true to oneself, regardless of societal expectations.

However, transitioning is not only an emotional and mental process but also a financial one. The costs associated with gender-affirming treatments, hormone therapies, counseling, and medical procedures can be overwhelming.
