We are building a youth led music scene in Bolton and we need your help.

Imagine a place where the youth are empowered to be creative, foster their talents and build confidence. Imagine if their playground is in one of the best live music hubs in the UK. Imagine if they were part of a yearly music festival that changes culture in Bolton. That's RockIt and it's incredible.

Rock It

Founded on the belief that music is for everyone, RockIt Bolton has become a sanctuary for young creatives. Our journey began with a simple idea – to provide a safe, inclusive space where young people can explore their musical passions.

We've seen shy individuals blossom into confident performers, witnessed the creation of original music, and celebrated the success of our community events. Our efforts have been recognized with the prestigious Queen's Award for Voluntary Service, affirming our commitment to positive change.

The Ramp

With the help of volunteers, donated materials, and a collaborative spirit, we've transformed Weavers Corner into a vibrant music hub. The Ramp is RockIt's home and includes 3 rehearsal rooms and a 200 capacity music venue.

Right to Roam festival

We also curate the Right to Roam festival which allows all young artists to perform alongside professional musicians and bands. We are changing and challenging culture in Bolton.

We need your help

Despite our achievements, the road ahead is filled with challenges. The ongoing need for equipment, funding mentorship sessions and operational costs is a constant hurdle. To sustain our mission, we need your support and every penny counts.
