Fund Steve’s long term specialist care

Hi I’m Nita I’m setting up this go fund page for my best friend/ brother Steven.

He has faced a traumatic brain injury resulting in life changing injuries. On the 16th of March 2023 Steve was rushed to hospital when he was hit by a vehicle. At the scene he was clinically dead and it took 4 attempts of CPR to resuscitate him. He was put into an induced coma and air-lifted to St Georges hospital.

This has caused significant emotional damage to his family and changed their lives forever. I’m asking for help to fund the long term specialist care Steven will need in order to make a recovery which would be acceptable to Steven. As Steven cannot do anything for himself so is in a vegetative state. Fortunately, he has come off the ventilator but is still dependent on a feeding tube, catheter and a tracheostomy. At the moment he is alive but is not living a day to day live which he would want. He is a very hardworking, proud man who would provide for his family. Steven is very popular because of his bubbly personality, he would make friends wherever he went. He would give you his last penny. Steven adores his wife and 3 children of the ages 29,19 and 16, they recently bought their first family home .

Right now Steven is waiting for a place to get neurological rehabilitation in order to help him with his mobility, speech and cognitive functions.
