Buy 1K Tamil Books for King County Public Library

Seattle Tamil Sangam, a nonprofit organization, has been nurturing the Tamil language and culture among Thamizhs living in the State of Washington since 1989.

King County is home to about 20,000 Tamil families today. More than 10,000 Tamil Kids frequent King county public libraries in Bellevue, Redmond, Issaquah, Kirkland, and Bothell every week. But none of these libraries holds Tamil books to aid Kids in learning their mother tongue. And feed their young brain with the richness of Tamil literature and heritage.

To fill that emptiness in King County Public Libraries, Seattle Tamil Sangam would like to donate 1000 books through this crowdfunding campaign.

With this fund, Seattle Tamil Sangam will purchase Tamil books in the following category.
