"FUTURE VISION"
NATIONWIDE PUBLIC ART BILLBOARD CAMPAIGN
SUPPORTING DEMOCRACY IN THE RUN-UP TO THE 2024 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION
Fundraising Deadline: October 4th

In today's rapidly changing world, the importance of envisioning a hopeful and equitable future cannot be overstated. The "Future Vision" public art billboard exhibition presented by The Untitled Space in collaboration with non-profit SaveArtSpace will present compelling visual narratives on billboards throughout the nation that fight for our future.

Running from October - November in the run-up to the U.S. presidential election in major cities throughout the United States with an emphasis on swing states including Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, and more, this public art billboard campaign is not just about idealism, it's about providing a roadmap for the future we want to build and protecting the social systems we want to preserve. By focusing on the importance of racial justice, gender equality, reproductive rights, LGBTQ+ rights, economic fairness, sustainability, and suffrage, this theme acts as a call to action.

We must support democracy, and motivate the public to head to the polls at this critical time. Activism has always been a driving force for progress. The "Future Vision" public art billboard campaign aims to amplify the voices of those who are fighting for social justice and systemic change, and who envision a promising future. Art has the power to provoke thought, spark conversation, inspire, and elevate. By turning billboards into canvases for activist art, we can reach a broad audience while advocating for democracy and voter turnout during the 2024 election, with our freedoms and civil rights on the line.

In a time when social justice movements are gaining momentum worldwide, it is crucial to envision a future where justice is not just an ideal but a reality for all. With increasing political polarization, especially with the possibility of Project 2025 becoming a reality, the need for political advocacy is more urgent than ever. Project 2025 is a political initiative published by the Heritage Foundation that, if enacted, would intertwine conservative ideals within the U.S. Government and consolidate executive power to Donald Trump if he wins the 2024 election. The 922-page document outlines a detailed plan to revoke LGBTQ+ rights, civil rights, women’s rights, and worker’s rights to create a conservative utopia where men remain in power. Despite Donald Trump stating that he is not affiliated with Project 2025, there is a surplus of evidence that says otherwise. 140 people who worked for Trump are associated with Project 2025, and he has a history of supporting the Heritage Foundation. It is more important than ever to join the fight to protect democracy and human rights in the United States.

Through powerful imagery and innovative practices, the "Future Vision" campaign serves as an urgent reminder of the importance of voting and preserving our civil rights. Art has the unique ability to transcend cultural and linguistic barriers, reaching a diverse audience and evoking emotional responses that drive action.

Turning billboards into canvases for activist art not only amplifies important messages but also democratizes art, making it accessible to a wider audience. By focusing on ideals such as justice, peace, equality, and diversity this theme motivates collective action toward a more just and harmonious world. The “Future Vision” billboard campaign aims to inspire, educate, and mobilize viewers.

WE NEED YOUR HELP
It is our goal to place these billboards in at least 20 sites strategically placed around the US. The billboards will go up in mid-October for 1 month leading up to the election, so that our voices can be heard in support of saving democracy. Because of its inherent accessibility and visibility, it is our belief that public art holds the potential to shift culture.

We aim to raise $20,000 for 20 billboards ($1k each). The more we raise the more billboards we can place around the country at this crucial time.

All donations go directly towards funding the billboards!

Every $1000 we raise will allow us to place another billboard in a key city across America! Thanks to SaveArtSpace and their special negotiations for billboards for this campaign!

All donations are tax-deductible - a huge thank you to everyone who donates! :)
