Support My U.S. Tour: Become a Founding Partner in the Center for Palestinian Renewal
I am Hamze Awawde, a Palestinian advocate for peace, reconciliation, and a shared future. With a lifelong commitment to human dignity and justice, I have dedicated my work to amplifying Palestinian voices and creating spaces for dialogue that break through cycles of violence. I am proud to announce a bold new initiative: the Center for Palestinian Renewal (CPR), a think-and-do tank that seeks to empower Palestinian perspectives and promote citizen diplomacy. CPR’s mission is to foster connections, build bridges, and advance a vision of justice and mutual recognition that is rooted in equality.
The Center for Palestinian Renewal will focus on the agency of independent Palestinian voices, creating opportunities for Palestinians to contribute to building a peaceful future for all communities in the Holy Land. At CPR, we believe in the power of citizen diplomacy and grassroots activism to bridge divides and bring about meaningful change. By empowering Palestinian-led initiatives and advocating for policies that promote a just and democratic future, CPR will foster a new narrative that transcends conflict and promotes coexistence.
What is the Center for Palestinian Renewal (CPR)?
The Center for Palestinian Renewal is a think-and-do tank committed to representing Palestinian independent voices in the global dialogue. Our goal is to elevate Palestinian perspectives and advocate for solutions that are not only equitable but also based on mutual respect and shared understanding. Through research, advocacy, and action, CPR will play a key role in building bridges between Palestinians, Israelis, and the broader international community. By promoting citizen diplomacy, we seek to encourage collaboration, understanding, and sustainable peace.
Our dual mission includes:
Research and Advocacy: Developing and advocating for policies that address the social, economic, and political challenges Palestinians face, particularly women and youth. CPR aims to strengthen Palestinian civil society as a foundation for a democratic, just, and inclusive state.
Action and Implementation: Supporting Palestinian-led initiatives that empower communities and advance liberal democratic values. CPR will collaborate with grassroots movements and organizations to build tangible, sustainable change and create a peaceful Holy Land based on equality, respect, and shared recognition.
Why Your Support Matters
This U.S. tour is not just about raising awareness—it is the beginning of an exciting new chapter for CPR. Your support will play a critical role in helping to bring this vision to life. By donating, you become a founding partner in the Center for Palestinian Renewal, helping to shape a future where Palestinians are active participants in their own self-determination, justice, and reconciliation.
How Your Contributions Will Be Used
We are committed to full transparency and ensuring that every contribution directly supports CPR’s mission. Funds raised will be allocated as follows:
20%: Legal fees, registration, and administrative costs to formally establish CPR as a nonprofit organization.
30%: Travel, accommodation, and logistical expenses for my U.S. tour, which will amplify CPR’s message, connect with stakeholders, and build support for the initiative.
50%: Seed funding for initial research projects, advocacy efforts, and the development of programs that will empower Palestinian civil society and advance the cause of peace.
Every dollar you contribute will directly help build a future of peace, justice, and equality for Palestinians and all people in the Holy Land.
About Me: Why I Am Committed to This Work
My commitment to peace is personal and deeply rooted in the history of my family. I was born into a family marked by the painful legacy of the Nakba and the 1967 occupation, during which my grandfather was tragically killed. This history of loss and suffering has driven my lifelong dedication to breaking the cycles of violence that continue to affect our communities. For the past decade, I have worked with grassroots movements, international organizations, and peacebuilding initiatives to create meaningful dialogue, challenge extremism, and build bridges across divides.
Since October 2023, I have intensified my efforts to advocate for ceasefires, hostages exchanges, and to combat all forms of hate, including antisemitism and Islamophobia. Through my engagements at universities, global forums, and media platforms such as CNN and BBC, I have had the privilege of shaping conversations about the future of the Middle East. The creation of CPR is the next step in this journey—transforming ideas into action that will have a lasting impact.
