UPGRADING OF ST DAVID’S GIRLS HIGH SCHOOL

1. The Diocese of Manicaland through its Synod and Standing Committee and Education Commission has resolved to Modernise and develop infrastructure of our schools.

2. This year we are fundraising for upgrading for St David’s Girls High School, Bonda in Mutasa district.

3. The choice of Bonda was arrived at after recognising that it is a girls schools with the largest enrolment and producing the best results in the Anglican Diocese of Manicaland and the Province

4. The available infrastructure is not commensurate with standards of living.

5. Unfortunately the economic situation we find ourselves in has compromised our capacity and that of parents and local well wishers to finance that project.

6. The main target being the dormitories and the living conditions of the girl child during their stay at the School.

7. Our main target group is the Alumni of the School (former students) and the friends of the Bishop and the Anglican Diocese of Manicaland.
