Fund visual impairment equipment

Hi my name is stacey and I’m trying to raise funds to pay for equipment for my daughter who has an undiagnosed medical condition.

during 2017 she has suspected benign inter cranial pressure which caused eye sight issues these were able to be managed by corrective glasses at the time.

however since then she has had a deterioration in her eye sight and is now needing equipment to do a lot for eyesight.

we have been to the local hospital numerous times however there is no ophthalmologist consultant in post there and hasn’t been for 3 years.

In February I took her to Alder Hey eye A&E as nothing appeared to be done.

Lauren has since been put on the waiting list for the electro magnetic testing of the eyes but this can take up to years on the waiting list due to a backlog from the pandemic.

so until diagnosis were Stuck between a rock and a hard place.

we don’t know what the future holds for Lauren’s vision if equipment wasn’t needed I would donate to another person that needed it.

Lauren has one 2 one support in school and equipment, as a family we want her to be able to have this equipment at home to promote her independence and not having to rely on her family members to read cooker dials or be her eyes.
