Fund Willie's Urgent Medical Expenses
Donation protected
****update****
It is very unfortunate that I have to report that our horse didn't make it. At the Equestrian hospital they were doing everything they could when the Willie took a turn for the worst. I have updated our goal to reflect a more accurate amount of burden that my parents will be facing with the overnight stay, emergency services previously, emergency services today and to help with Willie's creamation.
We appreciate everyone who took the time to donate and share and please pray for our mom as Willie has been her best friend for over a decade.
Hi
I'm Raven and I'm trying to help raise funds for my horse brothers medical expenses.
On May 15th 2024, my mom's miniature pet horse was attacked when two loose dogs managed to get into her fenced in back yard.
My mom was home alone and while she managed to get the dogs off of and away from her horse, a lot of damage had already been done.
We rushed Willie to the nearest Veterinarian hospital and they were able to quickly help us with his emergent care. Willie has wounds to his face, chin, and backside. However, the largest and worst wound is in his armpit area. The horse has been at the local hospital for over 24 hours and now has to be transported to a specialty hospital for continuing care as his wound continues to reopen and he is at risk for infection.
Until we learned of the transfer, we thought Willie would be coming home today to be managed at home and we would be able to manage the medical bills between us kids for our parents. However, with the continued care and move to a specialty hospital we are looking at thousands of more dollars than we originally anticipated.
Any little bit will help ease this burden off of our parents for this unexpected disaster we have been faced with.
If you cannot donate, please share.
Every dollar helps. ❤️
The horse has safety made it to Equestrian Specialty Hospital in Ohio. We will update as often as we have them.
