Please help fund my son Wyatt's extensive treatment to heal from late-stage Lyme disease.
Wyatt was an active, healthy, thriving, adventurous young adult living on his own for two years when, in June of last year, he started suffering the effects of Lyme disease. His first symptoms started with tachycardia. By September, it was attacking his nervous system, which caused him to lose his job and start relying on family and friends for financial support. By November, he lost the ability to walk well without support and had to quit driving. In January, after several doctor appointments and numerous tests, it was confirmed he had late-stage Lyme disease that had entered his heart, nervous system, and brain. He started the traditional treatment of doxycycline in February but has only had temporary relief from symptoms. Because the traditional treatment hasn't provided healing, his Lyme specialist has advised him to seek SOT treatment (Supportive Oligonucleotide Therapy).
Mechanism of SOT:
SOT works by creating a "key" that fits a specific section of the Lyme disease bacteria's DNA, effectively blocking the function of the "lock" and preventing the production of disease-causing proteins. This is a treatment that has provided a cure to so many others like Wyatt, and the results are amazing. This treatment is not covered by insurance, and Wyatt has exhausted all his savings, so we are reaching out for help to fund this life-changing procedure. The funds would be applied to plane tickets to travel to the facility, hotel, treatment that could be as much as $5,000 each time and depends on his level of infection, and basic living expenses so he can focus on healing and not stress about his next light bill. Please keep Wyatt in your prayers and if you can, please help support him with funds for SOT.
