Funding a cure for Parkinson's

Donation protected

I am a 52 y.o. wife, mother of two who was diagnosed 12 years ago with Parkinson's Disease.  Although I struggle to walk and perform my functions as a housewife, I push myself everyday to do the things I need to do.  Every year I attend a fundraiser event for Parkinson's in Central Park in April.  It is a 1.4 mile walk and each team captain is responsible for obtaining donations.  This year sadly, is the first that I am unable to have my own fundraising event to maximize the donations (which 100% of each donation goes to research to help find a cure)because of my current condition.  In fact this may be the first year I have to use a mobility scooter to walk the course.  That is why I had the idea to make a gofundme page to spread the word that I need help fundraising.  They are making great strides with treatments and a possible cure but they need funding to keep the research going.  I'd love to be able to tell my children that Mom's going to be better because they found a cure for the horrible disease  that robbed her of her best years.  Won't you please help?
