Funding a new car after storm totals it and home.

I am typically a very private person and I feel embarrassed asking for help like this. At the very end of the year in a storm a tree was knocked over and fell onto my rental home. It was longer than the drive way and crushed the bedrooms me and my room mates shared. At first my room mates and I were not too concerned and I contacted the owners as well as my insurance company that covers my personal property. It has been a roller coaster of emotion since then.

Both my insurance company and that of the rental owners have continued let me down, companies were contacted to help us and did next to nothing. My own personal insurance wanted a salvage company to come for my things and the cost would have eaten most of my personal insurance and the people sent were impossibly incompetent so the work was left to me along side working a full time job. The owners took weeks for bids on repairing the roof and went with the cheapest option possible and they did such a poor job they are having to return to support the roof which they had nearly entirely held up in one corner by a single lazily nail gunned piece of wood. Many of my personal items were destroyed and to top it all off when contacting my insurance about my car, of which the very top of the tree hand landed on, I had assumed it would be a quick and simple repair as only light damage had occurred, the front wind shield and side mirrors mostly. I was told that they would not aid in repairing the vehicle and instead they would buy it from me for an unfavorable price or do nothing and I would be left to pay for it, unfortunately I had little option but to take that deal due to the laws in my home state. I have been stuck in a hotel for going on 4 weeks with more and more bad news coming.

Now on top of planning to move out the second my lease is up, not now as there is no possibility of affording rent in two locations in this market, I am going to be buying a new vehicle when prices are higher than ever. I am not destitute, I am not in a position where I will never recover without aid. I want to stress I will not go hungry or without a roof over my head without aid. I will be selling my spare hobby stuffs, trading cards, warhammer models, and model kits or other collectibles if I need to with the goal of moving into a safer home and rebuilding within 2025. Any and all money raised is going strictly into buying a new car so I can continue to work, hopefully something spacious to aid in moving later in the year. Any help you provide is beyond appreciated but please do not feel inclined if you are not yourself completely stable. Thank you.
